About the Recipe
This is an easy, crowd pleasing recipe, that is especially great to make in the summer for an appetizer, or even a meal. We like to use our 8 x 4 mortar and pestle. We serve the guacamole right out of it, but you can use a mixing bowl of your choice.

Ingredients
2-3 gloves of fresh garlic
3-4 avocados
1 medium tomato
½ medium onion
½ lime
Salt and pepper to taste (We like to add a little cayenne pepper to add some heat.)
Preparation
Step 1
First, cut the garlic into small bits before adding it to the bowl, then muddle. This will release the garlic oils.
Step 2
Next, spoon out the avocado, smash and stir into the garlic. Dice the onion and tomato into small pieces stirring them into the bowl. Add salt, pepper and optional cayenne before squeezing the lime. Stir once again and taste. It is important to taste along the way to get the seasoning just right. Add more salt, pepper or lime to your tasting.
Step 3
Now, enjoy a healthy, fresh and delicious guacamole with your favorite chips and beverage.
TIP
Use a sealed glass container to preserve your delicious guacamole in the refridgerator. It will keep 2 days before turning brown.
